Summer Term 2011 Dates

Hello all!

The dates for the summer term 2011 are:

Sticky Stories
This term we shall be exploring books shortlisted for the Kate Greenaway Award.
16 May: Me and You, Anthony Browne and Jim, Hilaire Belloc and Mini Grey
13 June: April Underhill, Tooth Fairy, Bob Graham and The Heart and the Bottle, Oliver Jeffers
11 July: Ernest, Catherine Rayner, Big Bear, Little Brother, Carl Norac and FArTHER, Grahame Baker-Smith

Prologue
This term we are finishing off Prologuers taking it in turns to choose a book, and then shadowing the Carnegie Medal.
16 May: What Katy Did, Susan Coolidge
13 June: The Death-Defying Pepper Roux, Geraldine McCaughrean - Carnegie title
11 July: Prisoner of the Inquisition, Theresa breslin - Carnegie title

Epilogue
This term we are exploring British Detective Story Classics - from 1860s to the present.
9 May: The Moonstone, Wilkie Collins
6 June: The Hound of the Baskervilles, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
4 July: Strong Poison, Dorothy L. Sayers
w/c 25 July: tbc

April Fool's Day 2011

It's April Fool's Day and Literary Labyrinth is launching a competition to find the funniest fictitious book title that might be published today.
